What makes 2L Bio distinguished from others?

 

 

(1) With better shape and size of Cogs with no burrs remaining on the thread.

(2) No chemical change due to the heat on the raw materials during the manufacturing process.

(3) The most moderate thickness and size for the same needle size for better duration, durability and anchoring ability.

  There exist some several indicators that could be able to represent the quality of medical threads, such as duration, durability, anchoring ability, tensile strength and elongation. Along with a similar context, with regard to the quality of medical threads, there are several factors that possibly affect the quality of the product. For example, the raw material quality, the thickness of the main trunk of the thread, the shape and the size of the barbs, and whether there are burrs remaining on the thread if we enumerate.

  With a close-up view, the barbs of our Cog and Mold models, also we call Cogs, show much better form with the most moderate size but as big as possible for better duration, durability and anchoring ability. Moreover, since we don’t use heat or ultrasonic waves through the manufacturing process, there are no burrs remaining on the thread, also with no chemical change on the raw material occurs due to no chemical reactions during the process which means much safer.

  We are not bothered to make too wide range of our main models although we are capable to, since we choose the most moderate size and thickness of the thread for the same needle size considering the duration, durability, and the anchoring ability. But if there is a request for some certain models that are not our main models, we can manufacture them for you as well if the MOQ meets our standard number, such as PDO 0-0 Mold.

 

* Cogs *

  Since our Cog models tend to have more vivid contours with better barb size, our Cog products show better results in anchoring and lifting, as well as better duration and durability as it takes more time to fully absorb by the human body due to the size of the barbs, as you can similarly think of ice melting.

* Molds *

  Since we never use any heat or ultrasonic waves on our mold machines during the manufacturing process, there is no chemical change on the raw material of the thread, which means much safer.

(4) CE certificate on PLCL (also known as PLACL)

  It might make you surprise that there are only 3 manufacture companies that have CE certificate on PLCL and we’re just one of them. PLCL has both advantages of both PCL and PLLA since it is the copolymer of those two. It has excellent elongation and durability thanks to the advantages of PCL along with remarkable anchoring ability thanks to the advantages of PLLA. Furthermore, PLCL has an outstanding durability which is as long as 1 year in the air, while PDO easily crumbles only in 3 months in the air. That might suggest the PLCL’s excellent duration and exceptional durability under the skin as well.

 

(5) CE certificate on PLLA

(6) Able to create PLLA Cogs with much better tensile strength (18N) than other companies (8N).

  Currently, there is very a little number of threads manufacture companies that have CE certificate on PLLA. However, 2L Bio is just one of them that have it.

  For PLLA Cog Models, since PLLA is a brittle material, the tensile strength of PLLA thread after manufacture tends to show a dramatic decrease. However, we, 2L Bio, thanks to the very distinguished level of technology, the decrease in tensile strength is much less than other companies. Examination shows our PLLA Cog model has 18N of tensile strength in average, while others have 8N.

 

(7) Capability to manufacture PCL Mold models.

  PCL is a soft and ductile material which means it has outstanding elongation, something like rubber band. Due to the physical characteristics of PCL, in the process of manufacturing Mold models, it is very difficult not to have burrs created along the threads, as you cannot cut off the rubber band really clean. During the manufacturing process of Mold models, if the tolerance of mold machine is too big or if you use the heat during the manufacturing process as it necessarily creates some parts that are melted down, it must create a lot of burrs along the threads. However, thanks to our constant R&D, we have been able to get a super little tolerance allowed for our mold machines with higher number of pressing depths, but without any heat applied to the thread. So, our PCL Mold models have no burrs that we do not require any deburring process.

  Thanks to our excellent and distinguished level of manufacture technologies for Cogs and Molds, many other Korean manufacture companies frequently request us to manufacture some certain rare models such as this kind of model as you may see in the following picture below.
